About the size of a large mango and just over a pound!

Up 10 pounds total

 Is this question really necessary anymore?

Sleep?

Improving, slowly but surely

Best moment of the week?

First day of preschool for my little man!

Food cravings?

 Still on a fresh peach kick. Made a pan of peach crisp that is to die for!

Food aversions?

 None

Symptoms?

 Still having random Braxton Hicks - nothing regular and they're not increasing in any way. I remember when I was pregnant with Sweets my midwife said I had an "irritable uterus," which I find hilarious, because my uterus apparently has a personality just like me ;)

Movement?

 Sometimes I feel a big, rolling movement and wonder if there's a gymnastic event happening in there. At our ultrasound baby was head up, so just a gentle reminder, baby, at some point you do need to flip over...

Gender?

 Oh man, I still don't have an inkling. But thanks to my friend M we are having lots of fun perusing "The Baby Name Wizard" and starting to feel like we actually might generate a name for our second offspring ;)

What I’m looking forward to?

Maybe someday in the near future feeling like I'm in command of my work life again

My belly button is looking awfully shallow these days...could it be getting ready to pop out?

First day of school

I am officially the mother of a preschooler! And today was my baby's first, first, ever day of school! He was excited, and I alternated between total awe of how big and old he is and trying not to make a complete fool of myself by crying in the middle of his classroom.

There he is, all ready to go!

It truly is the start of a new chapter for our family and although I have massive anxiety about the amount of germs he'll be exposed to this year, I am looking forward to seeing what's in store!

22 Weeks

How far along? 

22 weeks. I've come to realize I am in total denial about having another baby. I know I'm pregnant, and I'm loving it, but actually giving birth to and being responsible for another human...yeah, not there yet. Guess I better work on that ;)

How big is baby? 

About the size of a spaghetti squash - nearly a pound now!

Total weight gain?

Up 9 1/2 pounds total

Maternity clothes?

 Is this question really neccessary anymore?

Sleep?

Wretched, but not for pregnancy-related reasons

Best moment of the week?

Anatomy scan last Thursday! It's so amazing to see a tiny person inhabiting your body

Food cravings?

 Fresh peaches - they are so delicious right now!

Food aversions?

 None

Symptoms?

 Super annoying heart palpitations - and yes, mom, I asked my midwife about them. She said they're normal. Also, my belly is getting itchy and my old friends Braxton Hicks contractions have arrived. I had tons of them with Sweets.

Movement?

 Loving it!

Gender?

 Yes, it was a little hard to tell the ultrasound tech that we didn't want to know the sex. But she gave us ample warning when to stop looking at the screen, and Hubs' didn't even peek.

The weekend. Please God, let this week be over.
